Early Childhood Educator

Centre name: Smilestones Junior Kindergarten Position: Early Childhood Educator Job Condition: Permanent, Full-time Job Location: 150-8661 201 Street, Langley BC Canada V2Y0G9 Wages: $18 per hour, 40 hours per week Benefit: Extended Health benefit after 12 month of employment Requirement: - Early Childhood Educator Certificate - 6 month or higher of working experience in childcare or 1 year or higher of relate education or training - Able to communicate in English in English working environment - Valid First Aid Certificate Main Responsibilities: -Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor -Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, etc. -Develop and implement childcare programs and activities for physical, emotional and social development of children -Guide, assist and care for a group of children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits -Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss problems and progress with parents and other staff -Ensure a healthy and safe environment for children Thank you for your interest.
